The petitioner, who is the widow of a deceased employee, is aggrieved by the fact that despite her having approached the Sub-Divisional Officer, Nirmali, Supaul (Respondent No. 3) for giving her a certificate of being the dependent of the deceased employee, she is being made to run from one place to another without any reason. This Court is absolutely dismayed at the apathetic approach shown by the Respondent No. 3 / Sub-Divisional Officer, Nirmali, Supaul. The only information which is required

Patna High Court CWJC No.3782 of 2019 dt.01-03-2019 2/2 for handing over the aforesaid certificate is whether the petitioner is the widow of that employee. This could be done without wasting any time.

Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the Respondent No. 3 is directed to look into the matter and give the certificate, if the petitioner is found to be entitled for the same. For facilitating the aforesaid process of preparation and handing over of the certificate to the petitioner, the petitioner is required to make a fresh representation before the SubDivisional Officer, Nirmali, Supaul (Respondent No. 3) within a period of one week from today. This Court expects that the concerned respondent shall immediately respond to the aforesaid representation and shall do the needful within a period of further one week.

With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
