The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tatarpur P. S. Case No. 14 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 399, 402 and 412 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-B)(a), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. Regard being had to the recovery of one loaded country made pistol from the possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him bail for the present, even though the petitioner is in custody since 22.01.2016. Accordingly, the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23279 of 2016 (3) dt.06-06-2016 2/2 application for grant of bail is rejected.
In case, if the trial is not concluded within six months from the date of framing of charge, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail before the court below itself.
