2. Petitioner, who retired from the post of Accounts Clerk on 30.06.2009 from the Building Construction Department, claims contributory provident fund and GIC along with statutory interest from 01.03.1976 to 04.02.1994 while the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1901 of 2019(4) dt.15-05-2019 2/2 petitioner was posted at Patna Industrial Development Authority, which is now called as BIADA. The petitioner submits that he worked for the Patna Industrial Development Authority, which is now called BIADA from 01.03.1976 to 04.02.1994, hence, his contributory provident fund and GIC has to be paid by the BIADA.

Considering the nature of claim made by the petitioner, petitioner is directed to file a representation regarding his dues on account of contributory provident fund and GIC for the period he worked in Patna Industrial Development Authority, which will be disposed of by Respondent No. 6, the Senior Accounts Officer, BIADA within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation. Any amount due to the petitioner along with statutory interest would be paid within a period of one month thereafter. If certain amounts are inadmissible, the same shall be communicated to the petitioner along with calculation chart by passing a speaking order sent through registered post.
