2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 132, 352, 351(2), 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that on 27.8.2024 when the informant, who is J.E. Electricity Deptt., with other officials proceeded to Janipur village to install smart meter, the petitioner with other accused persons stopped them and started misbehaving with them and also tore papers related to the electric department. They made scuffle with the informant and others. The accused persons also threatened the informant to face dire consequences if again they come to Nanpur block for installation of smart meter.

4. Considering the nature of accusation, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
