1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Rajiv Nagar P.S. Case No. 462 of 2024 dated 10.08.2024 registered under Sections 103(1), 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case lodged by one Soni Devi (informant) that on 10.08.2024 at about 4:00 A.M. Chandan Singh came at the house of informant and took along her husband. Later, at around 6:00 A.M. the informant was asked to come to Sahyog hospital and upon arrival there she saw that her husband's dead body was lying in front of the hospital gate.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and his name has transpired on the basis of confessional statement of the co-accused Prince Kumar. He

5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the material available on record including the confessional statement of the co-accused. From perusal of confessional statement it appears that petitioner's name has been disclosed by the arrested co-accused in commission of crime in question. From the impugned order it appears that C.C.T.V. footage has also been obtained by the police. Confessional statement of the co-accused may be the basis for further investigation in the matter.

6. Considering the gravity and seriousness of offence and the fact that petitioner is having criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected.
