That this is an application for issuance of a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) for commanding and directing the respondents authorities to give the benefit of House rent allowance, City compensatory allowance etc. provided for the employees of the urban area of district of Patna and further direction be given to pay the arrear of the same and/ or for issuance of such other order or direction for which the petitioners may be found legally entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the matter as stated hereinafter." 2.

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however,

Patna High Court CWJC No.1897 of 2022(2) dt.05-03-2024 3/3 seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the Respondents authorities for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
