Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is husband of the victim of dowry death. The death was caused within six months of her marriage in unnatural circumstances. There is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same. Petitioner is in custody since 31.03.2018.

Considering the nature of allegation and nature of material available against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge him on bail in connection with S.T.No.321 of 2018(arising out of Katoria P.S.Case No.189 of 2017) pending

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6549 of 2019(4) dt.22-04-2019 2/2 in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-2, Banka. Hence, prayer is refused.

Learned Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within nine months, failing which the petitioner would be at liberty to renew the prayer before the learned court below itself.
