Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patna Junction Rail P.S. Case (GRP) No.374/2019 registered for the offence punishable under sections 401/414 of the Indian Penal Code and 21(b) NDPS Act, 1985.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has not put on T.I. Parade and no any recovery has been made from his possession. Petitioner is in custody since 02.07.2019.

Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner is an accused in Kiul G.R.P. Case No.116/2019 under Section 21(b) NDPS Act, 1985. Considering the nature of allegations levelled, the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4466 of 2020(2) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 materials available on record and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, this Court does not find it to be a fit case for grant of bail to the petitioner. The same is, therefore, rejected.
