The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present case is covered by a judgment dated 17.07.2018 passed in C.W.J.C. no. 17670 of 2017, reported in 2018(3) PLJR 1029 (Akhilanand Singh & ors. v. The State of Bihar & ors.), hence the case of the petitioner be considered by the respondent- University in terms of the said judgment dated 17.07.2018.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 4 by filing a representation within a period of four weeks from today and the respondent no. 4 shall examine

Patna High Court CWJC No.2491 of 2019 dt.13-02-2019 2/2 the case of the petitioner in terms of the aforesaid judgment dated 17.07.2018 and pass necessary orders within a period of eight weeks thereafter. It is needless to state that in case, the case of the petitioner is found similar to the petitioners of the aforesaid writ petition i.e. C.W.J.C. no. 17670 of 2017, similar benefits shall be extended to the petitioner herein.
