2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Chhatauni P.S. Case No. 315 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 384, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 25(1-b), 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per allegation, on 27.06.2023 at about 8 P.M., the accused persons including the petitioner came at the door of the informant and started abusing and firing. The accused persons demanded rupees five lakh as extortion money and threatened him to kill if not given.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8769 of 2024(2) dt.20-02-2024 2/2 the petitioners have falsely been implicated. Though, there is allegation of firing but none have suffered any kind of injury. The FIR has been lodged after nine days of the occurrence which itself falsifies the allegation.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Chhatauni P.S. Case No. 315 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) SONALI/- U T
