In the present writ application, the following reliefs have been sought for on behalf of the petitioner :

1. This is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the Respondent authorities particularly the Respondent No.2 to transfer the Arms Licence No.5423 and Rifle No.194161 in the name of the petitioner as the said Arms Licence is in the name of the father of the petitioner, who has died on 31.03.2009 and for that the petitioner has already filed an application in the prescribed format.

Patna High Court CWJC No.1661 of 2019(2) dt.29-01-2019 2/2 Vide Annexure 2 to the present application, an application was filed on behalf of the petitioner as back as in the year 2009 for transferring the arms licence in the name of the petitioner as the father of the petitioner had died on 31.03.2009. Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh application/representation before Respondent No.3 i.e. The District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram within a period of 30 days from today for redressal of his grievance. The Respondent No.3 i.e. The District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram shall consider the application/representation and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of filing of such application/representation.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
