2. The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondent authorities to pay him the arrears of the revised salary from August 1981 to 16th February, 1992. The petitioner has only been paid on the basis of old pay scale and the benefit of pay revision has not been accorded to him.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the State however submits that since the appointment of the petitioner was through back door, except for his being paid for the work that he has rendered on the old pay scale, nothing else would be admissible to him. However such

4. Under the aforesaid circumstances, this Court directs the petitioner to make a representation before the Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Maharajganj, Siwan detailing his grievances within a period of four weeks from today, on receipt of which, the aforesaid respondent shall dispose of such representation within a further period of six weeks thereafter.

5. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
