JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 14-11-2019 The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 04.10.2016 passed by the District Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari in Arms Case No. 268 of 2016 whereby and whereunder the application of the petitioner for grant of arms licence has been rejected.
At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to challenge the aforesaid order dated 04.10.2016 before the appellate authority by filing an appeal. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid liberty, however, with a further direction
Patna High Court CWJC No.11522 of 2017(3) dt.14-11-2019 2/2 that in case appropriate appeal is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the appellate authority shall examine the appeal of the petitioner on merits, without being impeded by the issue of limitation.
