JUSTICE RAJIV ROY ORAL ORDER 27-07-2023 Heard the parties The present contempt petition has been preferred for compliance of order dated 27.07.2018 passed in CWJC No. 14168 of 2018 by which direction was given to the Circle Officer, Choraut to take the Encroachment Case No. 07 of 201718 to its logical conclusion if still the same not been concluded after hearing the concerned parties.

A show cause on behalf of the opposite party nos. 1 and 2 is on record to show that the said proceeding came to an end whereafter holding that the land is a public land, encroachment was removed on 09.01.2021.

In that view of the matter, the MJC No. 5257 of 2018
