The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case in short is that the accused persons fraudulently transferred a sum of Rs. 20,36,353/- to his saving bank account and thereafter transferred it to the account of different persons.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 4.7.2018 and has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. Charge-sheet has been

There is no substantive evidence to suggest his implication in the present case. On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. By way of fraud, Rs. 20 lacs and odd amount was transferred to the account of this petitioner and thereafter those amount has been transferred to the account of different persons which has caused wrongful loss to the Bank. Considering the nature of accusation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 341/18. The same is rejected. The Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial preferably within a period of nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
