The petitioners appear to have executed a perpetual deed of lease in respect of their raiyati lands in favour of the State of Bihar for construction of an Engineering College. The consideration amount, as per the lease agreement,

Patna High Court CWJC No.2696 of 2019(3) dt.19-02-2019 2/2 which has been paid to the petitioners, according to them, is based on what they are entitled to under the policy of the State Government. The son of petitioner no. 5 has approached the District Magistrate, Sheohar by filing an application, which has been brought on record by way of Annexure-5 to this writ application.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the grievance(s) of the petitioners and take a decision within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
