The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to Respondent No. 2 to pay the honorarium to the petitioner for the work that he has rendered from 01.10.2016 to 30.09.2017 and 20.10.2017 to 30.09.2018. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that after his superannuation from the post of Clerk in the Collectorate of Madhubani, he had applied against an advertisement for contractual appointment for a limited duration. On being successful, he was allowed to work for one year. Thereafter, his services were further extended for one year. Despite the petitioner having worked for the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1644 of 2019(2) dt.31-01-2019 2/2 aforesaid period, he has not been paid his honorarium. For payment of the aforesaid dues of the petitioner, he has been representing before the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3, but to no avail.

Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this Court directs the petitioner to represent afresh before the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Madhubani (Respondent No.

3) stating in detail and with clarity the nature of his claim within a period of three weeks from today. On receipt of such representation, the Respondent No. 3 shall immediately respond to the aforesaid representation and would dispose off such representation by passing a reasoned order within a period of four weeks thereafter. In case the claim of the petitioner is found to be tenable, necessary sequel orders be passed forthwith.

With the aforesaid observation / direction, this writ petition stands disposed off.
