Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is husband of the victim of dowry death. Death was caused within a year of marriage in unnatural circumstances in her matrimonial house. There is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same soon before death. Petitioner is in custody since 25.06.2018. Charges have already been framed.

Considering the facts of this case aforesaid, I

No.9907 of 2019(4) dt.19-06-2019 2/2 am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present in connection with Nadi P.S.Case No.129 of 2017 pending in the court of learned ACJM-V, Patna City. Hence, prayer is refused. The learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within nine months, failing which the petitioner may renew prayer for bail before the learned court below itself.
