"1. That this is an application for issuance of writ or writs in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the official respondents to woke up from their deep slumber and grant Arms license to the petitioner for NP Bore revolver/Pistol, as he fulfills all the criteria for grant of an Arms license which he needed for protection of his life family and property but the Respondent Authorities in spite of filing application on 25.09.18 in prescribed form, kept the matter pending which is against Rule 13 & 14 of Arms Rules, 2016."

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner filed an application in prescribed format for

Patna High Court CWJC No.2023 of 2019(2) dt.04-02-2019 2/2 grant of arms licence on 25.09.2018 vide Annexure-1 to the writ application.

Considering the same, the respondent no. 2 i.e. The District Magistrate, Sasaram, Rohtas, is directed to consider the application dated 25.09.2018 filed by the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the present writ application stands disposed of.
