JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-02-2020 The present writ petition has been filed for setting aside the decision of the respondent no. 2 (The District Level Selection Committee For Issuance of P.D.S. License, Muzaffarpur), presided by the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur dated 30.11.2019, whereby the application of the petitioner for issuance of P.D.S. License has been rejected on the ground that the petitioner is not having computer knowledge. It is contended that the committee has wrongly recommended the name of respondent no. 6 Sri Vibhu Ranjan for issuance of P.D.S.

At the outset, the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the matter be remanded back to the District Level Selection Committee so that the case of the petitioner can be examined afresh.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur by filing a representation within a period of four weeks from today, which shall be dealt with appropriately by the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur / District Level Selection Committee expeditiously preferably within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
