In the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order, direction quashing of the order dated 26.04.2016 passed in Case No.10/2014-15 directing the petitioner to deposit additional stamp and fine of Rs.1,86,120/- in connection with a sale deed, which was registered at Bettiah Registry office on 25.04.2014 in favour of the petitioner. Considering the reliefs sought for in the present writ application, the petitioner is directed to file an appeal under Section 13 of the Bihar Stamp (under valuation) Rules, 1995

Patna High Court CWJC No.2596 of 2019(2) dt.22-02-2019 2/2 before the Divisional Commissioner. The Appellate Authority, after following the procedure as laid down under Rules 14 and 15, shall pass final order under Rule 6. The petitioner shall file an appeal within a period of 60 days from today. The said appeal shall be disposed of within a period of four months from the dae of filing of such appeal.

During the pendency of the said appeal, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner in connection with Case No.10/2014-15.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
