BAJANTHRI) 08-11-2023 The present M.J.C. is filed for non-compliance of the order of this Court dated 06.01.2020 passed in C.W.J.C. No.21751 of 2018.

2. Pursuant to the aforementioned order, the petitioner submitted representation on 15.01.2020. Thereafter, it was bounden duty of the concerned respondent to decide the petitioner's grievance in the light of the orders of this Court dated 06.01.2020 read with the petitioner's representation dated

Patna High Court MJC No.614 of 2021(6) dt.08-11-2023 2/2 15.01.2020, within a period of three months. However, the respondents have not filed any application seeking extension of time in C.W.J.C. No.21751 of 2018. In other words, they slept over the matter for more than two years and few months. In other words, orders has been complied on 22.09.2022. Accordingly, the present M.J.C./Contempt Petition stands dropped. On the issue of delay in compliance of the orders of this Court, instead of initiating the contempt proceedings, we are of the view that litigation cost be awarded in favour of the petitioner and it is quantified at Rs.5000/-.
