Petitioner retired from the post of Head Foreman on 30.11.1997 from the office of the Transmission Circle, Muzaffarpur. In the present writ application, the petitioner prays for his GPF amount along with statutory interest which has not yet been credited in the account of the petitioner although in the earlier writ application it was a specific statement made in the counter affidavit by the transmission company that on account

Patna High Court CWJC No.1021 of 2019(2) dt.15-01-2019 2/2 of G.P.F. Rs. 4,82,921/- has been paid to the petitioner by cheque dated 24.06.1998.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said amount has never been given by cheque nor credited in his account and he has filed various representations which is Annexures-5, 6 and 7 but no heed is being paid. Considering the nature of claim made by the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 6, the General Manager-cum-Chief Engineer, Transmission Zone, Muzaffapur to look into the claim of the petitioner who would file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 6 which will be disposed of within a period of two months from the date of filing of such representation.
