The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 302, 201, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

In pursuance to the order dated 05.04.2023, status report of trial in connection with Sessions Trial No. 102 of 2019 arising out of Telhara P.S. Case No. 166 of 2018 has been received and kept at Flag-P, in which it is reported that five witnesses are yet to be examined in this case and the trial is likely to be concluded within four months.

Considering the present stage of the trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his payer for bail is rejected in connection with Sessions Trial No. 102 of 2019 arising out of Telhara P.S. Case No. 166 of 2018 pending

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12950 of 2023(5) dt.21-06-2023 2/2 before the court of the learned 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, Hilsa, Nalanda.

Accordingly, the application is dismissed. However, Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible within a period of four months.
