The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kotwa P.S. Case No.468 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 30(a), 32, 36 and 41(i)(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. 2064 litres of spirit was recovered from a truck. Petitioner is the owner of the said truck.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a supplementary affidavit stating therein that the petitioner is ready to pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- to the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee. The petitioner is the bona fide owner of the truck.
