The petitioner seeks bail in Jurawanpur P.S. Case No. 73 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273, 328, 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 30(a)(b), 34(a)(b)(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Petitioner is alleged to be the supplier of spurious liquor which led to death of four persons.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is not named in the FIR. During course of investigation, name of this petitioner has come in this case. No incriminating article has been recovered from possession of this petitioner. From bare perusal of FIR it is apparent that in the house of co-accused Jitendra Ram @ Jitan Ram all the persons consumed the liquor. Petitioner is in custody since 01.10.2021.

Case No. 73 of 2021.
