The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail for the third time. He is sought to be prosecuted under Section 8 (C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

This Court had called for a report from the court below about the stage of the case. The report

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16539 of 2021(3) dt.17-11-2021 2/2 indicates that the case is almost on the verge of completion.

Considering the aforesaid stage of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner during the pendency of the trial.

The prayer for bail is rejected.

It is expected that the trial shall be expedited and concluded within a reasonable time.
