The petitioner has renewed his application for bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.1015 of 2014 arising out of Alamganj P.S.Case No. 212 of 2014 registered under Section 376(2)(g) of the Indian Penal Code.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 13th January, 2016 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 449 of 2016.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the petitioner is in custody since 19th June, 2014, the trial has not been concluded as yet. Be that as it may, regard being had to the allegation

No.25213 of 2016 (2) dt.14-07-2016 2/2 that the petitioner and others ravished the victim and the trial is at advance stage, I am not inclined to take a different view of the matter. Accordingly, the application is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible.
