Petitioner happens to be father-in-law of the deceased and is languishing in jail custody since 18.3.2015 in a case registered under section 304B of the Indian Penal Code.
From perusal of the fardbeyan of the informant, it appears that omnibus allegation of illegal demand as well as torture has been levelled against the petitioner and moreover, co-accused Sumitra Devi, who happens to be mother-in-law of the deceased, has already been granted privilege of bail by this court. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in Mansi P.S. Case no. 252/2014.
