The present Criminal Revision Petition has been preferred against the impugned order dated 06.11.2018 passed by learned Principal Judge Family Court, Muzaffarpur in Maintenance Case No. 156 of 2012, whereby learned Principal Judge has directed the Petitioner to pay an amount of Rs.20,000/- per month to his wife, O.P. No.2/Anupma Anand towards her maintenance from the date of the order.

Seeing the possibility of the compromise between the parties regarding the quantum of maintenance, both the parties have sought instruction from their clients and learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the number of dependents upon the petitioner being three and his salary being about Rs.60,000/- per month, the quantum of compensation may be reduced to Rs.13,000/- per month.

4. However, learned Counsel for the Opposite Party No.2 submits that he has instruction from his clients that the quantum of maintenance may be fixed at Rs.15,000/- per month.

5. However, after some interaction, both the parties have agreed that the quantum of compensation may be fixed @ Rs. 14,000/- per month payable by the Petitioner to the Opposite Party No.2.

6. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to pay an amount of Rs. 14,000/- per month to the Opposite Party No.2 towards her maintenance from the date of passing of the impugned order i.e 06.11.2018. It is also directed that the total arrear amount, if any, after adjusting the amount already paid in compliance of the impugned order, will be paid in six installments. The first installment will be of Rs.3,00,000/- and the rest five
