1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case no. 449 of 2023 registered under sections 307, 379, 341, 323, 324 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the accused persons including the petitioner herein are said to have assaulted the father of the informant leading to grievous injuries.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No such occurrence as alleged has taken place. The injuries attributable to the petitioner is not on vital part of the body. The petitioner is in custody since 27.7.2023 and charge-sheet has been submitted

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner in the F.I.R, the injury report not disclosing as to which injuries has been found to be grievous in nature, the injuries attributable to the petitioner being on non-vital part of the body, the petitioner having remained in custody for 8 months since 27.7.2023 and charge-sheet having been submitted in the case, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case no. 449 of 2023, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-III, Sikrahna at Dhaka, East Champaran.
