The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is not named in the FIR. The land possession certificates were submitted before the bank for granting loan to the possessors of the land, but on verification it was found that the land possession certificate was issued after forging the signature of the Circle Officer.

It is submitted that the petitioner is Revenue Clerk and he only gave certificate with regard to the land to the heirs of the land holder, but later on the same certificate went through different stages and ultimately the signature of the C.O. was found

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35489 of 2015 (2) dt.24-08-2015 2/2 forged. It is found nowhere that the petitioner gave wrong certificates with regard to the owner of the land and the heirship of the land.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa in Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 8 of 2007.
