JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 18-08-2025 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and opposite party no.2 has settled the matter and Misc. Appeal No. 168 of 2017, contested between the parties, has been disposed of in terms of settlement which has been filed by the parties before the Hon'ble Division Bench. Learned counsel further submits that it has been specifically mentioned in paragraph no. 5(8) of order dated 30.07.2025 passed in Misc. Appeal No. 168 of 2017 that both parties have agreed that the parties would take steps of disposal of Cr. Rev. No. 82 of 2022 arising out of Section 498A which has been pending before this Court in terms of amicable settlement arrived at between the parties. No.82 of 2022(21) dt.18-08-2025 2/2 party no.2 has not been appearing in this case and the petitioner wants disposal of the present criminal revision in terms of compromise between the parties which is part of order dated 30.07.2025 passed in Misc. Appeal No. 168 of 2017 and specifically in the light of paragraph no. 5(8) of the order of Misc. Appeal No. 168 of 2017.

2. Since the instant criminal revision petition has been filed by the petitioner who now wants its disposal, hence, in the light of submission made on behalf of the petitioner, the present criminal revision petition is disposed of in terms of settlement between the parties which finds mention in paragraph no. 5(8) of the order dated 30.07.2025 passed in Misc. Appeal No. 168 of 2017.
