Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471, 420, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 32, 36 and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per prosecution case, 874.44 liters foreign liquor has been recovered from different vehicles.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is neither driver nor owner of the vehicles in question. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
