The petitioner seeks bail in a criminal prosecution registered under Section 307/34 and some other allied offences under the Indian Penal Code as also under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is specifically named in the FIR vide Annexure-1 as an accused and he is alleged to have fired from his pistol causing injury in the arms and abdomen of the informant, as a result of which he is said to have fallen down and further taking into consideration the fact that in the injury report of the informant corresponding injuries were found on the person of the informant, this Court is not inclined to accede to the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail at this stage. Accordingly, his prayer for bail in connection with Khiri More P.S. Case No.38 of 2015 pending in the court of Sri Randhir Kumar, the learned Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Danapur, District-Patna is rejected for the present.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24056 of 2016 (2) dt.31-05-2016 However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail on completion of one year in the judicial custody, if the trial of the petitioner is not concluded within the aforesaid period of one year.
