In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Sheikhpura P.S. Case No.429 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379, 307, 354 B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Allegation against the co-accused including the petitioner is to have started teasing with his wife and when she protested, then they assaulted her and snatched her golden chain from her neck. When her husband and his friend Ambuj came there to save, then accused persons also assaulted them badly with intention to kill and dragged Ambuj towards Harijan School Gali and assaulted him and they made fire upon Ambuj,

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order without being influenced by the order of this Court.
