Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.
Police got information that the pistol which was used for murder in relation to some other case was with the petitioner. Thereafter, the house of the petitioner was searched and the said pistol was recovered. Petitioner is in custody since 22.08.2018. Investigation of the case is already complete. Submission is that after the recovery of pistol, petitioner was named in the murder case also and prior to that he has got no criminal antecedent. The house is occupied by some other family members.

No.6413 of 2019(4) dt.22-04-2019 2/2 Considering the period already undergone and completion of investigation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Andharamath Police Station Case No.133 of 2018, subject to condition that both the bailors shall be resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and the petitioner shall fully co-operate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
