The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Ranitalab P.S. Case No. 238 of 2017 dated 18.12.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 407, 409, 419 and 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR has been lodged by the Deputy Manager, Buffer Stock Centre, Ranitalab who has alleged that despite some of the transporters having obtained invoice from the Bihar State Mineral Corporation regarding sand but those consignments were never unloaded at the place for which it was indicated. Considering the vagueness of the accusation, this Court has been informed that several persons have been made accused in this case and most of them have been granted anticipatory bail.

Regard being had to the aforenoted submission, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate 2nd, Danapur, Patna in connection with Ranitalab P.S.
