2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Laheriya Sarai P.S. Case No. 100 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections-498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. It is a case of matrimonial dispute. In order to explore the possibility of amicable settlement, the matter was referred to Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in the mediation, the parties have settled their dispute
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6771 of 2025(6) dt.15-09-2025 2/2 amicably and both parties have decided to live separately. Accordingly, the matter has been settled with the terms and conditions which has been annexed with the mediation report.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner named above, in the event of arrest/surrender within four weeks before the court below be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga in connection with Laheriya Sarai P.S. Case No. 100 of 2024 subject to the conditions as laid down u/S 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
6. It is made clear that if any of the parties fails to abide by the terms and conditions, the learned court below may pass appropriate order.
