In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 960 of 2019 registered for offences under sections 30(a) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
As per allegation, the police, on receipt of secret information, has recovered altogether 440.64 litres of foreign liquor and 360 litres of Cane Beer which were kept beside the house of the present petitioner.
Looking to the quantity of liquor recovered as also consider the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5393 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, above named, is rejected.
