Vide order dated 25.08.2021, a report was called for from the learned Court below as to why the petitioner was released on bail albeit his bail application was pending before this Court. In compliance thereof, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah vide his letter dated 28.08.2021, which is at Flag 'R' to this application, has, inter alia, stated that in Special Lok Adalat the petitioner has voluntarily accepted his guilt and on the basis of his confessional statement accepting his guilt and considering the fact that he has remained in custody for two years and seven months, he has been released on the order of the Special Lok
