Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dhanha P.S. Case No. 207 of 2022 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 27.08.2022 and there is recovery recovery of 267 litres of foreign liquor from her possession and she has no criminal antecendent.

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Considering the period of custody and recovery of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7597 of 2023(2) dt.03-05-2023 2/2 liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Dhanha, West Champaran in connection with Dhanha P.S. Case No. 207 of 2022. The address of the petitioner shall be verified by the court below before releasing the petitioner on Bail through the concerned Superintendent of Police and one of the bailor of the petitioner shall be a close blood relative.
