The petitioner seeks bail in Pranpur P.S. Case No. 41 of 2021, G.R. No. 934 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 395, 397 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, five miscreants riding on two motorcycles intercepted the informant and looted cash of Rs. 2.4 lakh from his possession and when he protested, one of them caused fire-arm injury to him (informant). It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that name of this petitioner has come during course of investigation on the basis of restatement of the informant recorded after twenty days of the occurrence. No looted article has been recovered from the possession of petitioner and till date, he has not been put on T.I.Parade. Some of the co-accused namely Md. Safikul, Md.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6841 of 2022(2) dt.07-04-2022 2/2 Basiruddin and Md. Asfaque Ali have already been granted bail by this Court, vide order dated 22.10.2021 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 40958 of 2021, order dated 13.12.2021 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 42230 of 2021 and order dated 22.01.2022 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 47157 of 2021 respectively. Petitioner is in custody since 14.9.2021. Investigation is complete. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the bail petition of petitioner is allowed. Let the above-named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st I/C, Katihar / concerned court in connection with Pranpur Roshna OP P.S.
