The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Charpokhari P.S. Case No. 106 of 2013 for the offence registered under Section 20 of the N.D.P.S. Act and Section 25 (1-b)a, 26/35 of the Arms Act.
Altogether 111 K.G. Ganja was recovered from the house of the petitioner. The quantity of recovered ganja is of commercial quantity.
The prayer for bail on behalf of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 07.01.2014 passed in Cr. Misc.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34711 of 2014 (3) dt.16-01-2015 2/2 No. 51046 of 2013, I do not find any new ground to reconsider the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
However, the Trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial of the petitioner within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of this order as the petitioner is in jail since 18.05.2013.
