2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 386/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner has demanded extortion money from the informant showing him pistol in the shop.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. The petitioner is in jail since 30.06.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the petitioner is accused in three more cases of similar and serious nature.

6. Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. This application for regular bail is dismissed.

8. The court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner.
