JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 03-02-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Phulparas P.S. Case No. 138 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 385, 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Allegation against the accused persons, including the petitioner is of firing and causing injuries to left ankle and left thigh of the father of informant.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that injuries are simple in nature and he is in custody since 1.12.2019.

Heard learned APP, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that petitioner has criminal antecedent and he is accused in altogether four cases.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5795 of 2020(2) dt.03-02-2020 2/2 In view of above facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. However, once charge sheet has been submitted in this case, petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the court below itself, who shall consider the same and dispose of the same by an appropriate order.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
