1. The petitioner by way of this writ petition has prayed as under :- "i. A writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the PUSU election 2022-23 which was held on dated 19.11.2022 on the basis of notification dated 18.10.2022 under the signature of Dean Signature Welfare, Patna University by the order of Vice Chancellor, Patna University, whereby and where under the schedule for PUSU Election, 2022-
Patna High Court CWJC No.2543 of 2023(2) dt.25-02-2023 2/3 23 has been published/notified without following the norms of Statute for Students' Union (Framed under Section 44(2) of the Patna University Act, 1976), particularly Clause 13 B wherein it is stated that "The election to the PU Students' Union shall be held for an academic session, preferably between 6 to 8 weeks from the commencement of the academic session".
ii. For issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari and any other writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions for quashing the Patna University Students' Union Election - 2022-23 result which has been declared in a wrong, illegal and unconstitutional manner.
iii. For direction to the respondent authorities to reconduct the PUSU Election 2022-23 on the basis of Statute for Students' Union.
iv. For any other relief/reliefs to which the petitioner may be found to be legally entitled to."
2. Considering it that this matter is covered by the Judgment dated 23.02.2022, passed in C.W.J.C. No. 5489 of 2020 (Suresh Ram Vs. The State of Bihar & Ors.) and
Patna High Court CWJC No.2543 of 2023(2) dt.25-02-2023 3/3 connected matters reported in 2022 (2) B.L.J. 381, 2022 (2) P.L.J.R. 80 and the Judgment dated 07.03.2022, passed in C.W.J.C. No. 34 of 2022 (Minakshi @ Sushre Minakshi & Anr. Vrs. The State of Bihar & Ors.), this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to file appeal before the concerned District Appellate Authority.
