The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chhapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 706 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 20.12.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and has antecedent of one case. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation is of recovery of 150 litres of liquor from a motorcycle.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the real culprits on seeing the police fled and the petitioner who was coming on a motorcycle came to be implicated when the search

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Exclusive Special Excise Court, Saran at Chhapra in connection with Chhapra Muffasil P.S.
