2. The present writ petition has been filed for following relief(s):

"For the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to pay compensation to the petitioners in accordance with the rate to be determined under the provisions of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.14712 of 2017(2) dt.06-05-2025 2/2 Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (hereinafter be called, 'the new Act') and not in terms of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (hereinafter to be called, 'the old Act')."

3. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners submits that they shall be approaching competent Civil Court under appropriate Act for the redressal of the grievance.

4. Granting such liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of.

5. The Court concerned while dealing with the limitation petition must realize that the petitioners' writ petition was pending before this Court for eight long years. (Rajiv Roy, J) anand/- U
