The petitioner in the present writ application is seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent to provide protection of his life and property and his family members.

WJC No.1743 of 2017(2) dt.24-11-2022 2/2 Considering the statements made in paragraph '15' saying that respondent no. 13 and their associates had demolished the house of the petitioner after passing of the order dated 28.06.2014 by the learned D.C.L.R., Arwal and acquired the land of the petitioner forcefully and at this stage, the statement of learned counsel for the petitioner that civil dispute in respect of the same is pending, this Court finds no reason to continue this writ application. This writ application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner that in case, he has any threat to his life he may bring it to the notice of the Jurisdictional Police Station which will be entered in the Station Diary and shall be duly examined within a period of one month and in case the threat perception of the petitioner is found to be genuine, further action shall be taken to refer the matter to the competent committee.
